1. 1In a medium bowl, whisk together the mayonnaise, sour cream, and buttermilk until smooth and well combined.
2. 2Add the minced garlic, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, lemon zest, and ranch seasoning. Whisk until fully incorporated.
3. 3Stir in the parsley, dill, chives, thyme, paprika, cayenne, and red pepper flakes. If using cottage cheese, blend it in until mostly smooth.
4. 4Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour to let the flavors meld together. Taste and adjust seasoning with more cayenne or salt if needed before serving.
