Crispy Honey Lemon Pepper Wing Sauce

1. 1In a small bowl, mix cornstarch with 2 tablespoons water to make a slurry and set aside.
2. 2Melt butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
3. 3Add hot honey, sriracha, lemon juice, lemon zest, lemon pepper, black pepper, cayenne, and chili crisp oil. Stir well and bring to a simmer.
4. 4Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook for 2-3 minutes until sauce thickens slightly.
5. 5Remove from heat and stir in green onions. If using, whisk in sour cream until smooth.
6. 6Toss immediately with hot crispy wings, making sure every piece gets coated in that sticky, spicy goodness.
